We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Become a Member of the Community Impact Committee
Any member of the community is welcome to join the Community Impact Committee.  The Community Impact Committee is the voice of the community working in tandem with our staff and Board to acheive the mission of the United Way of Southwest New Mexico.

This group of volunteers meets regularly to discuss community needs and how the United Way of New Mexico is working to meet those needs.  Members of this committee also serve on active committees as they are needed for special events, campaigns and allocations.

Become a Board Member
The United Way of Southwest New Mexico is currently taking applications for Board Membership through November 2008.  We are looking for individuals who are interested in making an impact on our community and creating opportunities for a better life for all of us in southwest New Mexico.

As a Board Member of the United Way of Southwest New Mexico you will have the unique opportunity to impact a broad section of need in our community as we work with 21 local non-profit agencies to provide 24 programs and services targeted at improving education, health and personal economic viability.

Become an Advocate
The United Way of Southwest New Mexico is currently looking for dedicated individuals to be Advocates for the 2008 LIVE UNITED Campaign at their places of work throughout southwest New Mexico.

Advocates will be team leaders in their workplace and encourage their coworkers, employees and supervisors to become a member of the LIVE UNITED movement - and help us to build a better community by creating opportunities for a good life for everyone.
